The Client

Luminis Beauty Spa is an oasis of tranquillity with a widespread presence across the UK. Known for its luxurious ambiance and premium services, each location offers a haven for relaxation and rejuvenation.

The Challenge 

The Luminis Beauty Spa team relies on their website for both bookings and presenting their wide range of treatments. They sought a fresh website that replicated the exceptional in-salon experience for their online presence. They aimed for a website that mirrored their luxurious, high-end brand and enhanced customer interaction.

Our Solution

We decided to migrate the Luminis website to Shopify, this was a deliberate step towards improving user experience, streamlining operations, and leveraging the advanced features of the Shopify platform to better serve their customers and drive business growth.

It was a strategic decision aimed at enhancing the client's online presence and adapting to their expanding requirements. 


What we did:

  • Aligned the website's design, color schemes, typography, and overall aesthetics with the established brand guidelines. Simultaneously, the focus was on enhancing the user experience to ensure a smooth and efficient customer journey on the website. Improvements in the funnel process included refining navigation, improving the checkout process, and strategically placing calls-to-action (CTAs) to guide visitors seamlessly from browsing to conversion without compromising the brand's identity.

  • Conducted thorough keyword research to understand the terms potential customers use when searching for products or services offered by Luminis. 

  • Optimizing product descriptions, meta-titles, meta-descriptions, alt-text for images, and ensuring proper internal linking were key components. Additionally, creating valuable, relevant content and optimizing category pages aided in attracting more organic traffic to the website, thereby improving its visibility on search engine results pages (SERPs).

  • Ongoing on-page optimizations, such as refining content, updating keywords, and improving page load speed, contributed to sustaining and enhancing the website's SEO performance on an ongoing basis.

Increase from the previous year's November (first month of shopify website) in e-gift card sales.


Increase MoM in e-commerce gift cards since Shopify migration.
